So my cousin sold me his RE SE 12 for 60 dollars saying it was popped well it's not realy popped but the coils are pretty dark. So either way I am going to RECONE it from FI. I am planning to throw 1000wrms what options should i add for that extra power handling. Oh and it has a rip on the cone so part of why I'm reconing it....

It performs very nice even with the rip and sort of popped but when i put up the volume it makes a popping sound every time it hits are these the tinsel leads hitting...

Sounds like the spider has come loose from the landing on the basket.

Either way sounds like a recone is needed.
