rli-8 done yet?

i'm so itchin to get an rli-8 but i hear they're down for retooling, any idea when the new and improved is gonna come in?

As soon as we get the cone and surround back from the machinist tooling them, we will start rolling ahead with production. Since we are still waiting on these two integral parts, it is hard to give an exact estimate, but I would conservatively guess it will be about 4 more weeks. If you haven't already, drop me an email and ask to be notified when they are available - I'll fire off a message when they are!

I for one can't wait. I loved the old RL-i8 and if the new ones are any better I'm definitely getting 2 or 4 of em.

I still have everyone who has asked to be, on my waiting list -

however I also have some unfortunate news to bring to you.

A basket shortage is upon us and the in-house baskets we were going to use have

proven too small for the design of the woofer. New baskets have been ordered,

but this means my 4 week "conservative" estimate above has now become a 4 week

"optimistic" estimate . It could in fact be two more months before these make it back to market

Well that sucks. Looks like I will be running my pair of RE 8s on 300w for the time being.
