amp and batt. touching

My buddy gave me an idea on how to mount my amp, but it will touching the batteries...will that harm anything when the amp is on?

as long as the terminals on the battery aren't touching the amp you will be okay!

can you take a pic of this setup maybe someone will see something else!!
