Duralast gold enclosed space?

Recommended Posts

Well I got a second battery it's a duralast gold from autozone it says wet cell sealed, I have a second space under my hood where my truck uses the same body as the diesel but is a gas burner. I would have to custom fab a bracket to hold it there, but could I just use it inside my truck? Is that safe I've heard they vent hydrogen on non sealed I just want to blow my self up haha is anyone else done this?

I don't believe that battery is sealed, so if you use it inside the cabin, it'll vent out poisonous gases...

I'm reading from this: http://www.duralastparts.com/gold.php?page=batteries

Best-in-class vent caps engineered to be safer and reduce leakage and corrosion

^Is that the same battery?

A good read on batteries.

If mounted up under the hood you should be fine.

What type of truck?

I would just buy the bracket and tray for the truck and install the battery up front. That's what I did with mine.

Can you get the bracket from autozone? If so that would help put a good bit
