2 18"s or 4 15"s ??

i have a 98"GMC ext truck that im going to wall off soon. i was wondering what set up would be better.

 

2 SSA Zcon 18s 2250w rms each= 4500w rms

 

4 SSA Icon 15s 1250w rms each= 5000w rms

 

i have room to build either set up and lets assume i have the alt, amps n batts to push it..

It depends on if you want to compete and stay in a certain class. Cone area can sometimes be good or bad. 2 Zcon's may meter higher if done right and 4 Icons would be nasty as well and be a great ground pounder. Sounds like a good plan either way. I would probably go 4 15's because down the road if you upgrade to 4 Zcons or Evils it will become just that much more painfull.

if the power is the same, I would choose the cone area and go with 4 15"s.  Like swift said though, it's always a great base to upgrade from down the road.

yea i saw that  the Zcon 15s require about the same box space as icon. so i could def sell the icons later n upgrade woofers n still use the same wall... kool
