December 4, 20177 yr That’s an awesome list of equipment! I have no doubt that you’re going to thoroughly enjoy it. I have a 10” XCON myself and I couldn’t imagine replacing it with any other subwoofer. I have the mids, tweeters and four channel amps as well but I’m still looking for the opportunity to get them installed. Soon I hope, very soon!! Welcome to the forum!
December 4, 20177 yr Author Thank you for the warm welcome. I decided on the all SSA based purely on the forum participants. I'm the type that spends a few weeks listening to every speaker at every shop for hours on end... yes I'm that guy. Buying stuff I haven't heard makes me a little nervous but I know the depth of knowledge here can help me make this a great install. I'll probably wait till spring to start anything. Michigan winters with no heater in garage makes for very little motivation. I still have to figure out my head unit and a possible dsp and most importantly which vehicle is getting the SSA treatment. I'll start a build log when I figure out the rest of the components.
December 5, 20177 yr Doing it big right off the bat! You’ll love em. I brought my first ssa sub just recently. With no prior experience with the brand or the forum. But after doing lots of research. Watching videos. And seeing all the positive comments this brand gets. I made the jump. And I’m very glad I did so. It did take a while to come in , so be patient. But my friend it is well worth the wait. The quality, craftsmanship, and the sound it produces is worth it. Anywho, welcom and you’ll love the equipment. I got all the things you listed except my sub of choice was the evil.
December 5, 20177 yr Author The evil looked a little too scary for me. Xcon will be my biggest sub so far. I'm recently getting back into the car audio scene after an 8 year hiatus. Seams like so much has changed, just glad there is a place like this to get back up to speed. My local shops have not been overly helpful. They have the "pay and I'll make it work" mentality. I'd rather do the parts I know and get help with the stuff I don't. Biggest hurdle is time right now. Long hours at work for the upcoming future. Thanks for the heads up on delivery times ManzKea. I did read that in some of the threads already. I work in manufacturing so I understand lead time and what hand built involves (although I would love a tour if that's even remotely possible). Hopefully I'll have a few build logs from you guys to keep myself motivated till my equipment comes in.

December 6, 20177 yr Author Just got shipping information for everything except the subwoofer. Figure that will come in a few weeks after it gets built. Pretty excited for early Christmas presents.
