I think everyone goes through some crazy stages with there mind and body, just if your willing to talk about it and not worried who will judge you. I believe it is worst things happening out there to people than what we go through, were human but to others were aliens and vice versa. Just my .02 but that is another conversation.

Well then how about proving that they aren't? CEA Compliant from what I have read was all "Marketing Gimic" Not trying to start an argument, would just like a better explanation on how to properly rate a mobile audio amplifier? It's not hard; The amplifiers are rated to output X wattage at X impedance with XX.X voltage input at X% distortion. I've never seen an actual test that accurately measured all four parameters to demonstrate that the amplifiers do indeed output significantly higher power than that rated by Sundown under the test conditions specified by Sundown for determining their power rating. I have no idea if they are underrated or not; But a whole lot of people claim they are, and no one has been able to provide any evidence to support that claim. That's all I'm asking for....proof.

between San Antonio, San Marcos, Austin, Austin, Georgetown, Temple, and Waco, 3G service is about as good as you can get in the state

Need better goals than that, sounds better is personal and subjective to others. Either would have good amounts of output and sound good, kinda a toss up to me.

are you using a high quality loc??? cache cloc-d is a pretty piece. fyi i never encourage people to do systems with locs. not that it cant be properly installed and sound good, its just that i dont believe people should be spending all that money, and not buy a quality receiver.

you can set your gains by ear if you think it is too complicated because you wont need to gain match since you only have 1 amp..... as for wiring series parallel that bitch. also for setting your bass eq, set it at 0. subsonic depends on you and what you play. since you are putting them in a sealed box with less power than rated you could keep it low or even off-25hz. x over should be set according to how much frequencies you wanna catch. do you have midbass driver??? if not set it at around 65-80hz. hope that helps

Wire each of your subs to 2 ohms since you have a dual one subwoofers and send each sub's wire to its own speaker terminals on the amp, the amp will drop the load down: Usually when doing the DMM method you take the least of the two rms, since your subs are 1600 together and your amp is 1200 then you go with the 1200 rms. If you went with the 800 rms then your subs would only see 400 watts each. Settings will come down to personal preference: Bass Boost = Off Low Pass Filter = 60-80Hz, some go as high as 100Hz but it really depends on where your midbass are crossed at or its a personal preference. Sub Sonic Filter = 2-5hz below tuning usually to be on the safe side, consider you have a sealed box you really wont bother with it. Phase = Relative to your system, so play with this after you set your system up (most leave it at zero cause they dont know to much about it). If you like how it sounds at 180 over 0 then leave it at 180 but its what sounds best.

Email doesn't even remotely work. I've tried emailing them a few times with questions over the last year or so and never got a single reply to any of em.

I guess I don't see the point in spending 30% more for a Sundown when he explicitly stated he does not intend to upgrade or add subs. The fixed subsonic likely isn't that big of an issue. Even if he is running a ported enclosure a 25hz @ 24db/oct subsonic would likely be sufficient protection unless the enclosure is tuned ridiculously high. If he's not running a ported enclosure that's tuned ridiculously high then it's a non-issue. If he absolutely requires a variable subsonic there may be more affordable options than those Sundowns that would suite his purposes just as well. Everyone claims Sundown is underrated......but I've never seen anyone prove it IMO jump on that deal for the Kicker amp. Should be an excellent match for your subwoofer at a great price (assuming you don't absolutely require a variable subsonic due to an extremely high tuned ported enclosure).

Instead of making topics like these that wont help out anything, just email the company and leave it at that. Dont go around making it seem like they are doing you wrong or something along those lines. People are busy and it could be a mistake, so handle it professionally and not on a forum where this wont get anywhere since the people on here most of the time dont work for Fi Car Audio.
