New SAZ-1500D pics

Recommended Posts

My new SAZ-1500D (Jacob, you're the best!) came in via UPS today. It just occurred to me that nobody has posted pics of the new heatsink for this model, so here you go!

This is a crappy picture, but it shows off the upper heatsink.

Very nice, mine are the older heat sinks. That's ok, my new 3000D's will have those newer heat sinks. I love the new design it looks great.

Congrats on your 1500. :neil:

better cooling...like it...and sexy as always

i find it interesting that it needed additional cooling. I run one at 2ohms and it doesnt even get warm....I mean barely noticible it is even running warm. Very impressive amp to say the least. I imagine at 1ohm it might be a different story but man it runs colder than anything else I have ever used.

New heatsink was made primarily for the needs of the upcoming SAX-250.2 model - of course, it never hurts for the other models to run cooler either :)

Its more overkill than a requirement. Even at 1ohm my 1500s barely get warm.
