Mavis Beacon  I bought that when I got my first computer, so I could learn to type. Went about half way and figured that was good enough. :lol2:

good times. ok not really, it wasnt a "fun" game at all and it had dumb music. and every time i had to repeat an exercise, i just felt dumb. that evil program must die.

I didn't know what iHop was about anyway, just kind of joined in. I sure as heck didn't go back and read 2000 pages though.

But you get to a point where the "hunting" part is reduced...so your speed approaches or exceeds that of a "proper" typer. I was at that point in the 5th grade, and it bothered the hell out of my teachers because I would show them how fast I could type my way...

Mavis Beacon sucked. So did that Logo program they made us run on Apple II clones, IIRC...ahh, the days before Win 3.1 was in common usage ;)

Oregon Trail rocked...although I would always load up on ammo and go hunting.

Yep, you do eventually get to learn where they keys are. I never played Oregon Trail, limited programs for a Mac then, I think MB was it for typing software.

Hey Supa, why do you always run into problems with your enclosures? Are you a freaking Retard? Get on the bus foo!

J/K. For real though. Take a little more time and try not to rush it. If you get frustrated, walk away.

On a lighter note, Look what I'm buying. Great deals!

$300 for 1000 CEA compliant watts is a steal.

Better than the $700 I paid for the JBL, or the $500 for the Audison.
