SI Bm 10s (re-coned With New Parts)

Recommended Posts

I bought out all of the QC failed SI BM 10s (old models) and re-built them with several changes:

1) Slightly longer flat-wound coil (original was round wire) - USA made coils

2) Narrower / Taller Surround

3) Tied down tinsel leads

Measured T/S Specs (coils in series):

RE: 6.89 ohms

Z: 8 ohms

Fs: 27.2 Hz

Qes: 0.56

Qms: 3.32

Qts: 0.48

Le: 2.8 mH

Vas: 31.1 L

BL: 16.2 NA

Mms: 124 grams

Power: 400 watts RMS

0.95 ft^3 SEALED BOX - F3 of 41 Hz

1.5 ft^3 ported tuned to 30 - 35 Hz for high output

I have about 40 of these...

$125 shipped in the continental USA for one

$240 shipped in the continental USA for two

$440 shipped in the continental USA for four

Ask about more than that!

These are blow-out items and sold with no warranty beyond a no DOA guarantee. I can built re-cones for them for a while as I did get about 25 sets of extra parts! They are pretty tough with a 2.5" diameter flat coil, though :)

Nice sounding drivers.

Dual 4's? 5" Deep?

D4 / 5.5" deep

They can be used in a smaller sealed, the suggested box is the 0.707 alignment without stuffing.

dang it. finding something to fit my needs is becoming a pian. There either to big(depth wise) or the VC configration is not what I need.

2 of these subs off of a SD 1500d at 1 ohms is proly to much uh?
