Better for what?

x2

i really like batcap

Find yourself a Batcap 8400 with charger. We built a system with the 16 volt model that pushed 2 Zapco 9.0s running 8 CV 15's close to 160db. Just 1 Batcap, not bad eh?

A battcap would be the best out of the 3 but be prepared to spend at least a grand on one. You can get 2 D3100's and be straight for around $700 shipped to you. The D3100 will walk all over the HC2400 no matter what any of the Kinetik fanboys may tell you.

Not trying to jack the thread I just have a question.

I have a 94 LeSabre, 105 amp alt. Everstart battery under the hood at 12.8 v not sure of specs.

Will be getting an XCON and SAZ-2000D most likely with a SAX-100.2, big 3 and 1/0 all around.

I'm not sure about getting a H/O alt since I'm not sure how long I will have the car.

Would it be sufficient to get one HC2400, someone local is selling one for 200 it rests at 12.6 and he's had it a year, not pushed hard/drained.

Any suggestions?

I think that price tag is what made me look past then a while ago.

wow thats a very biased statement....beng that im not on team kinetik or xs power and having used both batts maybe i can give an unbiased opinion...with a little common sense u can see that the 2400 has more AH and the 3100 has more dead short amps...in other words the 2400 will be slightly better than a 3100 for daily pounding...but probally not noticable...and being that 2400s can be found dirt cheap used all over the net id go with some used 2400's...

The higher AH led me to the kinetiks, and i was thinkin of buying some from someone yesterday, but i saw alot of ppl sayin how a powermaster is better than a 2400.

also does anyone know about black kinetik batteries, all ive seen is blue, but the batteries the guy is selling are black. He said he got them from sonicelectronics, but i got some 1800s from there and theyre blue.

Kinetiks can be blue or black. I think they stopped doing black cases a couple years ago though I am not sure. I would take kinetik people always talk about how great the xs is yet all the db draggers still use odyssey, stinger nsb and other enersys in street. Kinetik also did pretty well at all the spring breaks this past weekend....
