ummm my last demo truck had 48 under it. I've installed about 4 or 5 hundred pair under vehicles. If you are looking for great sound Kicker makes awsome set of 6.5 components that fit well into the factory soundbar. If you are looking for a budget pair Bazooka has some durable 6.5, 6x9, and 8"

I have 3 pair of Polk 6.5s in my boat. They have a lot of marine certified 6.5s, depending how much you want to spend. I am pretty happy with mine. I did have to mount a crossover for each speaker-just something to keep in mind. Not sure how normal that is for coaxs.

If you run them sealed they don't really need to be 'marine' speakers. Hell I've never run marine anything even in my boats.

I would shy away from exposed voice coils, untreated paper cones, and foam surrounds though.
