Running a Zx1500.1 at 1 ohm

Im thinking about running 2 american bass xfls at 1 ohm off of the kicker amp good idea i know its not but will it work?

edit the subs only come in dual 4 ohm VCs

No, that won't work. You'll end up blowing the amp and having to buy a new one anyhow. So you might as well just skip the blowing up step.

yup, I did the same thing with mine. ZX1500.1. It lasted two days.

no shit? i've never had any problems running kicker amps @ 1ohm, never had a customer return, blown amp, nothing. then again these were all zx1000.1's and below installs. *shrugs*

As long as I can remember the ZX series has been 2ohm stable. A 1500w amp is a 1500w amp though.
