Well the price finally went down far enough!!!! $299 from cartoys with warranty!!! Picking it up tonight. Then turning around and selling the 8052 for $150 Pics either tonight or tomorrow.

Nah, even if I wanted to I dont think that my amps could handle the 16v cause they are already all the way down.

I got a CT right around the corner I am going to visit this AM. Correct me (please) if I am wrong, but I have heard that the sirius box eclipse is coming out with is backwards compatable to this HU, Can anybody confirm this? That is edge I am teetering on as I can't live without my sirius. I drive like 60000 miles a year ( I cover 6 states as a field engineer) and most is thru the mountains or areas so sparsley populated there is no radio.

I do beleive that the only way to use the Sirus or XM on last years units (8454 & 8053) is to use the aux input, that menas that you will have to have the external controller to change all the features of the radio.
