Picture looks like crap. I'll have to take another one tomorrow out in the sunlight so you guys can see this thing "pop."

2 coats poly primer, 6 base coats, 4 coats candy, and 13 clear.

Well, the photos are not giving the natural bright look of this, but here's some more. The next coat will come when I get more product in. Hopefully they ship quickly.

And for those curious, the amps I was talking about were the Butler Tube Drivers. Unfortunately, they are lacking in the CS department and I'll be damned if I spend $1500 on two amps and they won;t answer the phone or emails.

Zed Audio, here I come.

The basket looks awesome :)

And that's only the first step. ;)

Supa, it's a little thicker than a credit card except around the edges. This was just a step I took because I was bored and needed to put the liquid to use. I am going to be matting the entire thing once the new Hazmat is shipped out.

I didn't realize how massive these things are! Now on to find a good 15-20WPC amp for them.

With the exception of four foot line arrays, those are probably some of the most massive tweets I've seen.

I really want to know how these sound,

x2, i wanna hear what all the hype is about.

npdang seems like an adamant disbeliever of horns and really likes ribbons so i just wanna see why.

I had planars in my last install so the ribbons were just the next step.

So far, plans are to mount them in custom pods on the door corner up top, but I did not realize how large they are. I am going to have some custom faceplates made up about 3" in diameter and see how those will do. Dispersion wise, I think they'll do fine in the small confines of my interior.

As for the basket, well, it's getting changed again. Amps may too. I simply won't need the power I thought I would for the ribbons, so I'm looking for a compact 2 channel that I can conceal behind a panel, then go for 2 larger amps for the remaining 3 drivers.

it might not be your style but I think effendi is selling an RF 2002, if not I found the jackpot,

I dont own one but I might snag one for Amanda, but the little kicker would do you right for sure
