Alright so my Fi 12 D2 q should be arriving tomorrow. I arleady have my Sundown Saz 1000D. I've been reading as much as I can on here so I just want to make sure I have everything straight. Wiring my sub to 1 ohm I need to take the

positive's and run a wire from one to the other andsame for the negatives. Then take a wire from one of the pos and neg's and run them to the amp. I noticed the amp has 2 sets of speakers inputs A & B. I would hook my sub up to one set correct A or b?

As for setting up the amp I have a Alpine CDA-9884 it has a subwoofer level 0-15 if I understand this I put the subwoofer level to 15, bass to 0. Take 1000wRms x 1ohm load, Square root of 1000 is 31.6 so with a 50hz tone playing at 3/4

volume take my DMM and hook it up to the speaker inputs of the amp with gain at 0 turn up till it reads 31.6 volts? I'm a little hazy on what to do with with the Subsonic (10Hz-60Hz), LPF Filter(35Hz-300Hz), Bass Boost(0dB-6dB) and

Phase(0-180) tho. Also the rca's are not labeled witch one is left and right? Thanks in advance.

First timers! we all were there once!

lets see if i can help you out some!

correct you need to wire the sub to a 1ohm load and yes only use A or B not both! and to wire the sub to 1ohm put all the pos together and all the negatives together!

on your h/u turn the volume to 3/4 turn the bass boost stuff OFF and sure put the sublevel on 15!

now DISCONNECT the sub from the amp

Hook the dmm up to one of the terminals (a or b)

Set the dmm to AC voltage (a/c has a ~ line ontop of the V )

set the gain on 0 (all the way left i believe)

phase 0

subsonic set it to whatever your box is tuned to (if you box is tuned to 25hz set the knob straight up)

LPF turn that to 80hz

bass boost 0

NOW insert the 50hz press play

watch your dmm a/c voltage increase as you turn the gain up

once you hit the desired number (31.6) stop the test

plug the sub in and go from there!!!!

as for the RCA it doesn't matter b/c this is a MONO amp so you can put either red or white in either hole!

i hope that helps and good luck! and take some pics also!

You don't have to use only either A or B channels. They are wired together inside the amp so really they are the same output. You can use any you want.

Leave phase at 0 when you start, but don't be afraid to change it as you listen so that you can get it in phase with your interior speakers. Changing this setting does not hurt the sub in any way.

Will post up pics as soon as possible. Last question...well for now anyways haha. The remote amp knob, that only controls the gain I have set. Say the gain on the amp was set to 50% if you had the remote gain up half way it would only be 25% gain, max on the remote would be 50% ect...
