Good Match?

Would a Hifonics BX1205D be good for a pair of Rl-i8's. I think theyll get about 500 watts each at 1 ohm because theyre overrated. Tell me what you think of this combo or other amp choices?

500 each would be sweet. needed? not really, like supa stated, but they'll handle it, easy.

for the money, HF is hard to beat. power acoustik comes to mind as a contender, as does directed and jbl. add a few more dollers to the pot and memphis pops in there, as does orion. ppl also seem to like the eD 9.1, which is just a rebadged something...it's 4:45am...gimme a break..lol...

Indeed they should be up to the task - just make sure your enclosure and gain is set appropriately!
