Ported Enclosure for 2 Sundown SA-12's

Recommended Posts

I'd like a box 3.5 cubes after displacement tuned to 30-32 Hz. Measurements are 40Wx17Dx20H

Dark grey carpet and double flushed baffles.

Thanks,

Steve

I meant the displacement of the 2 sundown SA-12's which would be .28 cubes. So i guess i coulda asked for a 3.78 cube box lol

Anywho Andrew, I'm ready to do it so let me know how you want to proceed

Did you want slot ports or aero ports?

The added cost would only be $10 for aero ports (2) 4inch ones.

Ok here is what I have.

32 Hz Tuning.

37.25 Wide (38.75 after .75 indented sides)

17 Deep

18.5 Tall

Gives:

.09 Bracing

.28 Sub disp

3.5 Air Space for Subs

Port is 17 tall x 3 wide, yielding 51 sq inches of port, which comes out to 15.57 per cube.

Double baffle, flush mount, grey carpet (I need to get you samples), Dayton Audio terminal.

Since we upgraded the carpet we are adding $10 onto the price of ported boxes, which brings your total to $210 shipped.

well unlike what jaycee said, i dont know i havent clamped on music, but right around 1500 im guessing after box rise..... blurred vision hard to breath..... good times lol louder and sounds better than the 3518 i ran last year.... i need to clamp but from the conversations i have had the box rise is very little but that is box dependent
