Second Skin Mass Loaded Vinyl In Stock

Recommended Posts

We just change our Regular Luxury Liner noise barrier.

It used to be a two part composite system made up of

1 lb psf vinyl barrier

1/4" open celled foam

We just gave it an overhaul and are now shipping it out.

The new Luxury Liner is:

1.25 lbs psf

No foam

Just raw mass loaded vinyl

The price was reduced as well

Check it out here:

Second Skin Luxury Liner - Mass Loaded Vinyl Noise Barrier - 1.25 lbs psf MLV

Thanks for your attention!

Well...

The old Luxury Liner was the 1 lb MLV laminated to the open celled foam.

This stuff is 1.25 lbs psf so it is 20% heavier for slightly better results, but you have to add alalye rof OVerkill or Overkill Pro to go along with it so more work is required.

Either way, it is good stuff!

Very affordable too

Why does the description say it's made "of a flexible vinyl barrier and acoustical grade open cell foam" if there's no open cell foam on the product?

Hmmm...

Where does it say that?

I thought I changed all the verbiage.

:ohnoes9: :ohnoes9: right by pricing and above install instructions

"Luxury Liner is a highly effective barrier and absorber composite mat consisting of a flexible vinyl barrier and acoustical grade open cell foam. Apply Luxury Liner on top of vibration dampers to reflect the sound waves that penetrate vibration dampers and noise filter it in to the cars cabin."

Probably.

But with Second Skin growing 22% last year, it is kind of hard to tell.
