I just bought enough 1/0 at welders supply to wire up amp, do the big 3, probably have 20 ft left over & wasn't much more than one of those kits!

u can buy 4/0 and still not pay that much, well maybe

2x20=40 +.50x20=10, yup 50 bux for 20ft of 4/0, lol, crazy :sniff:

I get all my studd for free. I love perks. My big 3 will be 2 guage DLO. Custom making all my power distribution points as well.

I suppose they are jsut tryign to appeal to newbs to convince them of such awesome deals which im sure they cater to a certain crowd but for their prices I can still get things way cheaper.

I got my 1/0 out of Scottie's junk wire box... had to dig for a little while since there was 8 guage out the wazoo, but in the end the big 3 cost me about $5.

Educate the n00b.  What's the difference betwee 4/0 and 1/0?

4/0 is quite a bit larger and therefore can handle quite a bit more current than 1/0 can
