11cuft net too much?

i built my box for 2 18" but one got busted in shiping i have a big comp coming up and will it be saft to run 1 in 11cuft on about 4k just to get my points up

box is a wall 11cuft net tuned to 35hz

160sqin off port

amp rd audio d9 run at 1ohm about 4krms

the box was built for 2 but with all my bad luck i just need to get by this weekends comp for points but i will have the other sub in a few weeks i hope

It will make noise. Power handling will be very reduced in the larger box, though, so lower the gain accordingly or else you're not going to have any subs.

Ok hooked one subs up sounds good on the highs but the lows sound like mudd so when I get the other sub back should I add to the port to tune lower?
