Loud Mp3 Players

What are some Mp3 players that get fairly loud while retaining sound quality? My iPod Video with Rockbox OS was the best i've seen, my classic just doesnt compare

The type of headphone you use with then has a lot more to do with how much volume you see out of the specific player.

MP3's in general have HORRIBLE sound quality properties..

when i was younger my father and i built one of these 3.5mm Amplifier for me so i could listen to my then very quiet MP3 player.
