Need some help choosing a new HU

Recently i had to return a kenwood KDC-BT945U because it kept getting really hot and messing with the sound quality so im looking for something else.

Im looking for something that has at least three sets of preouts (front, rear, and sub), aux input, decent ipod/iphone controls, and a good equilizer. Bluetooth would be cool but i can make calls on my phone so i really need something that will play music loud and for long periods of time.

The guy at best buy showed me a JVC KW-XR810 but for some reason im a little hesitant with that brand.

Id like to keep the budget under $300, but i understand you get what you pay for so going over wont hurt me too bad.

I allready got a dash kit for single din but a double should fit too.

What do you run and why do you like it? Any advice would really help me out seeing how i got a big hole in my dash right now and id really like to fill it with something good

I have the pioneer 880 prs and it's one of the best units I've ever had. It could prob be had used within your budget
