help me choose

I got myself a Diablo Audio HF8000.1. i cant decide whether to go 4 AQ copper coil 12s in a proper size box (8.5), or 2 Aluminum coil 18s in a little too small box (10.5).

im not looking for numbers, just a daily beater. my goal is to get loud but retain some decent sound while listening to music. pretty much just sounding decent while listening to music but loud.

Well... those subs will accomplish one of your goals...

but i'd rather have multiple woofers in a perfect sized enclosure than a too small one. It all depends on your car and your budget.
