runing rca for 6 amps

Recommended Posts

so what would be the best way to run rca for 6 amps?

HU has 3 rca outputs front rear sub,

and if i understand corectly i can only do 1 amp in master and 1 in slave, so this would b ring me down to 3 for my sub amps what would be the next route?

Usually, you use a combination of the rca pass throught on the amps (if available) and rca Y-adapeters

Are all 6 for your subs?

yes

6 15s-6 amps,

also

1 amp off of front for tweets and 1 amp off rear for mids,

total of 8 amps all together

Why a amp for each sub?

if i do an amp on each sub i can run at 2ohm load for starters and if i decide to down the road i can add a 2nd woofer on each amp

I would also consider a line driver as well for clean signal to so many amps.

What is a 15s-6? If it is a normal amplifier you can just use the RCA outputs. If you are not strapping the amps you are never running into a master/slave situation. You are simply passing the signal from amp to amp. It is only a through however so the signal might be reduced for 6 amps, so I would also recommend a line driver.
