doing 3 18's in a wall, decided to go big, amp suggestions

Recommended Posts

I can't help it, but I hate seeing people refer to the Re of a driver as though it counts as the IMPEDANCE load the amp is going to see.

Going to end my rant there. Now back to the regularly scheduled programming.

When I was selling my XCON 10 I drove an hour and a half to meet a guy and he wouldn't buy my d2 because it read 1.4ish. He said that his amp was only one ohm stable and .7 was too low. Needless to say I was very irritated on the drive home.

Well since you're going wall and add more cone area, you can tune higher and achieve nice lows. When I start the 4 18s in the jeep build, it's going to be 34-35hz tuning.
