box question

Recommended Posts

well i started my box today for my 15" btl fully loaded, and i almost finished it (i had to work 1-9 today)

my sub is going to be facing forward, and im kind of worried that the basket might break, or that it may mess the box up.

i didnt double baffle it today, but tomorrow i am going to, im more worried that when i hit bumps and stuff the sub will torque the box and break the screws.

also, is there a way to build a support for the motor, i was thinking just building a half circle out of mdt to fit under it with some sort of support to hold it up...

Hmm that is a pretty good question never thought of the motor weight vs the basket but if i am not mistaken it should be strong enough...

what type of screws ? Basic wood/drywall screws ?

For the BTL i would recommend using the tee nut with a double layer on the panel the sub is mounted on.....
