why would ya steel my thread :puzzled:

the port in the 1st pic sitting on the boxx is my "Street beat" dropp in 38hz

without it the boxx is 54Hz

He is talking about the long steel threads that many people are using as barceing because they take up less volume then mdf and are stronger and adjustable.

i gotta few things still too do in the boxx :

Brace w/ allthtread

add 45degree angle

figure where i want the port / drivers or passengers side...ect ect ect

fill in wall where batterys go & over box

cover wall with black carpet

hmm, i think the port is better suited for the driver side, if i remember right.

or passanger side to give it time to load better ?? :puzzled:

You should build a new box as wide as you can, and move the subs as far over to the passenger side as you can, so you can have more port area.

Me and Doug are pretty good friends. I drive a blue 04 silverado. Been to a few TBP shows. Mostly watching, sometimes I enter my truck. More of a USACi guy.

Cool ! i have Modded the boxx by adding another faceplate,

fiberglass resin,

1/2 round trimm in the seems,

and will be adding a few secret angles to help the port to load better,

built a dropp in port for Street Beat.

just got dougs other boxx with the Twin 6" Flared ports

Yeah, we basically threw that box together. When we found out it wouldn't fit the way we wanted to AND that DD didn't ship the recones that he ordered, we stopped trying to make it bullet proof. Basically just left a shell with a single window brace. Im going to try and make it over to DFW again in July that way me and doug can work on a box for his new project. :)
