Trying to make room for a larger box to fit in from the front of the trunk/rear seat. You can see there is some sheet metal in the way that would need removing. Think this would hurt the structural integrity of the car? Lazy half azz drawings...sry The pieces outlined in yellow triangles will bolt out. I would have to cut my rear deck trim panel up to the red line. The orange rectangle is a slight hump that may limit my height of the box getting through, its probably removable but will not be able to be put back after without welding lol. Well since I've decided to move on from this build it was time to find a new project. So I give you the B2 tahoe.... But really thats all I have so far. The plan is to either move the xc's from the toaster into this and drop down to 4 15's no wall since thats the cone area limit for the class i plan to run. So: 4 15 b2 xc's 4 b2 m1s various b2 hn8's or hn6's and hntt tweeters. b2 quattro amps for highs. will be doing 4 alts but dunno on the amperage yet either 320's or 370's, and no clue on batts yet. and all sky high wire. got a few months before any shows so itll be a little bit before I update this. But I'm excited for the upcoming season.

I'm transferring this over from another forum/ Some things might be out of order. I'm getting the car for next to nothing but it needs some work. So far I have replaced both front control arms and sway bar links. I'm redoing all of the front end (P/S pump, racl etc.) The sway bar bushing look swollen, so those are going to be ordered too. I'm hearing a slight "clunk" when I throw it in to reverse which I believe is either a bushing on the rearend or the flex bushing on the drive shaft. Yup, decided id go the other way and make an awesome front stage before tackling the subwoofer stuff first! ive always had different 6.5 comp sets and a sub stage but even with tuning and refining, never felt like you are there at the show front and center. ive gotten the staging close but with active x/o's on a on-axis 2-3 way front stage, i think thats what im really looking for. currently running 01 accord hertz hsk 6.5 comps old pioneer deck, also have a alpine 98-47 that ive had forever. soundsplinter rlp-15 future plans 2-3 way active front stage. ipod/iphone with line driver. or maybe an active deck? us amps md 21 on hertz tweeters 125-200 rms bridged 4 ch. …

I haven't posted in a while but I sold my orange truck and got a 2004 cadillac escalade. The plan is 2 sp4 18's on 7,000 to 10,000 watts. So far I have my aq 2200 on my btl 15. Scared and I are building a box in the next week or two.

OEM stereo -> Audiocontrol EQL -> Soundqubed Q1.750 -> Rockford PPS4-6 and Morel MDT-12 & Soundqubed Q1-750 -> Sundown SA-12D2 Quick snap. Box is big and awkward. Its turns up around 2ft3 after sub and port displacment. The box nex to it is for a 2nd battery (XS D3100, I know that is too big for the little amp, but got that battery when I had a SQ Q1-2200). Sad thing is I need a 2nd battery even for that 750w amp. Maybe I should buy a smaller battery. But it;s easy to build a new box,. So i'll see how this all works out in the next couple weeks.

Figured I should start a build log since I've gone through so much trial and error in getting this stereo to sound good. I have had a build log on **** for awhile and I figured I would share some info on the build here. Truck is a 2004 Dodge ram 1500 single cab with a 2/7 drop on 22" black and machined US 55's. Sub stage is 1 Atomic APXX 1078 15" on a DDM4 wire at .7, Toolmaker dual inputs. The enclosure is 5.5 cubes net sub forward custom Psychoacoustics oval aero out the side. XS d3100's under the hood, all toolmaker terminals, 8 runs of SHOK 1/0. 4+,4-. The best score to date for the truck in MECA is a 151.3 @30hz at the headrest. What is everyone's opinion on this build? Ok I so I bought this truck a month and ago. It is a 2007 ram quad cab 1500. Basic 17" wheels and base stereo with a powerseat. I bought the 20" wheels and tires that you see on it. The wheels were $325 for the set. I work for a car dealership and got the tires for $500. 275/55/20. My plans are: 1. stereo system 2. lower it 3. cold air intake 4.
