finishing off enclosure. answer quick please.

Recommended Posts

Ive gotten my box completed and my sub installed in my car for about a week now, its going to be a nice weekend out here in Michigan and would like to finish my box. What do I use to cover up all my seams/screws so I can paint over it. Also I want to have a nice black or charcoal look to the box but have it be textured like steve meades, any ideas what to use for it.

Bondo (Body filler) or try latex caulk.

I use a wood filler by Elmer's. Does a nice job on the small things.

sterling heights, MI. and I went ahead and went with "plastic wood" wood putty and duplicolor spray on bedliner.

Thanks for all the feedback

Can you post pictures when you're done with the box?

I would like to see how it turned out. :D

Could have made your own wood filler with the saw dust and wood glue. Will work perfectly fine for filling screw holes.

The light color you see is the wood, i covered up all the screws that were occupied from my amp and cap.
