Single 10" ICON D2 on a SAZ-1500D

Ok, decided to throw this 10D2 in my truck to demo at a show tomorrow. Wanted to go with a really flat response, so had Fallen from ROE throw together a box design in a pinch tuned @ 31hz. 24.75in^2 or port. Volume after displacement it's 1.25ft^3. This is the first time i've really played with the ICON in this respect. Absolutley love it.

I'm deff going to be carpeting this tomorrow am before the show. Loving this box so far though.

He should have hit the ring around the sub with a roundover bit...other than that nice looking simple box. How's it like the power?

ya, maybe i'll head out and get some vids. Last time we did this with the blazer, we had a guy come hallin ass in the office complex we where at (which is unoccupied). I guess he lived a few blocks away and bothered him so much from that distance that he threatened to kill us all, then tryed to through a cement block on the blazer as we left. What an asshole he was, he could of simply asked us to leave. Didn't think we where bothering anyone there at that spot. oh well, i'll have to find a new spot for vids now.

damn ya its hard finding spots to shoot vids. I usually just go up to the parking lot at my school. Its huge and usually un occupied especially in the summer.

That box looks big for only 1.25^3ft. Crazy.

did you miss the picture with the huge port bends? takes up most of the box. After displacement it almost looks smaller then 1.25 inside to the eye.

It does sounds really flat though, you would love it.

The only thing with this set up is people are going get the wrong impression and think that a 1500D on an Icon is the way to go, then crank the gains and wonder why the thermal limits of the driver are hit and they need a recone. Mark is clearly experienced with loads of extra power.
