Hummers = overrated :)

The only thing they really excel in vs. other vehicles is stability on uneven terrain...because they're so damn wide.

For actual traction ability, a stock Pinz 712 or Mog U404 will take a Hummer on...I don't even think the H1 comes with front/rear locking diffs.

Uhmm, you forgot power....its got 2x as much

I dont know about the locking diffs, is should come with.

It does have the tire inflation/deflation system built in.

Hummers might be over rated but the interior is pretty nice compared to those other vehicles.

H3 is made under the HUMMER name by GM, but much like the H2 is a worthless peice of yuppie garbage.

There is only 1 hummer IMO , the military spec humvees.

Speaking of military spec ... I need one of these:

I do believe they make those track adapters for all kinds of trucks as well...saw them in a catalog at a previous job...pricey, but sweeet.

Yup, they do. I remember when they revealed them on a Ford F-Series (350, I think) truck a few years ago at SEMA - people were going nuts.

the tan piece around the door lock still needs to be painted, but other than that i really like the overall results, i might even do the roof with vinyl when i get time and $$ (the spray glue cost me more than the vinyl)

Vladd did you buy your vinyl on the net?  I need some for my kicks and haven't started looking yet.

nah got it from a local fabric store. I think i paid $5/yard and only got two yards, was more than enough

btw if anyone really wants and if $5 or $6 per yard is a good deal i can probably pick some up some time for you. i say 5 or 6 cause some of the other styles were $6/yard (they had a tighter backing on them, i didn't like it personally cause it bunched up even more than mine on corners)

Sweet, I appreciate the offer. I will try the local fabric outlet in Brooklyn Park and see. I assume that basically you buy the one that looks good and stretches the most?

Nice work getting rid of that fabric. That is one of the things I have never understood about Japanese cars, they all have really weird fabric colors.

You might get away with beer...if it was Coke, you'd be SOL...

Throw it in distilled water, take off all the keys and scrub that biznitch if you really want to be sure.
