Btl ohm's

Recommended Posts

what is the difference between the dual 1 ohm or dual 2 ohm on the btl's? is it just what the sub can handle, and can be wired down and witch is better the 1 or 2?

What coil option you want will be dependent on what amp you are using. If you want a 1ohm load, get the D2 and wire it in parallel. If you want a 2ohm load, get the D1 and wire it in series. There is a nice tool on www.the12volt.com which does the wiring for you. What amp are you running/plan on running?

nooo... all you did was sent me a link to the fi btl shopping list...... it does not show me the options you picked... infact it states d1.....

eitherway... with dual 2 you will be able to strap 2 saz 3000d's on 2 btls d-2s and have over 6000 watts on tap....

in your pm to me you stated that your gonna take this to a shop to have it installed......

not a great idea but the part im worried about is!!!

i asked you about battery space and you said they will take care of all that.......

so your not shopping for your own batterys?

you know you MUST have many batterys for these amps correct>?

you will need more then 4!.....

i have 5 yellow top types and a h/o alt...... for 1 saz 3000d...

i ran three yellows on one saz 3000d it did not work out....

look into powermaster the d3100.. you will need atleast 2 of those. and replace your front cell with a powermaster aswell... that will give you a good start....

1 3100d on two saz 3000d's

jacob recomends you use ATLEAST 1 d3100 for 1 saz 3000d....

so 2 saz3ks you should use ATLEAT 2 d3100's.....

i found that my saz 3000d runs cooler stronger and longer with 250 amphours on tap.

when i ran 150 amphours my amp would run hot, and protect on long plays,

eitherway, if space as an issue... and money is not.. the powermaster d3100's is for you........

how many of them to run...... well lets see how many people chime in.

the saz 3000d is a VERY efficient amp.... you must understand that it TAKES alot of power to MAKE alot of power.

and yes you will need a FEW of those.

ok, good deal, man these 3000d's are gonna be BA, lol. I will purchase like 6 powermaster d3100's for 4 3000d's then, and it should be enough?

i really wanna put 4 fi's in the back of this jeep and i beleive if i take out the back seats and dedicate the whole vehicle...that there will be enough space!
