From limited info I'd go either a single 15" or 2 12" with that space.

14) The term SPL has one meaning here, to be as loud as possible playing one particular note. The response will be peaky and loud.

15) SQ also has a very defined meaning, to reproduce music as it was recorded as exactly as possible. If this isn't your goal, don't use the term.

16) LOUD SOUND QUALITY is not a term that is allowed on this board. Use it and you will get warned. SQ & SPL are polar opposites so DO NOT say you want a mix of both.

I think this would be a pretty good combo with your budget.

Hurry up and order to day. :D

that being said i think bromo's on the right track, the black and blue sale prices are out of this world, that is a hell of a setup for under $1k. you gotta remember you're going to need a fair amount of 1/0, big 3 upgrade, an extra battery or two and perhaps a HO alternator to make the most out of any of the woofers suggested so far.

Dont port the Q, maybe the "15 Bl is better suited for you. Can I ask why I have seen numerous people switch from Bl's to Nightshades, similar woofers no? Should I just grab the SAZ1500 and Nightshade combo on SSA?

Why do you say don't port the Q?

The BL and Nightshade are similar, SIMILAR, not the same. The Nightshade generates more motor force and is more SPL oriented yet just as musical.

I say the Nightshade + 1500D would be phenomenal.

with 5 cubes to work with which is better out of the 3

aa havoc

Don't forget to add the SSA ICON to the list, it's a solid performer and really goes after the "lows". Can't go wrong with any of these drivers.

Out of those 3...I would definately go for an AA Havoc.

I Haven't had much experience with Nightshades, but all of the setups I have heard were amazing.

IA Death Penalties are pretty good drivers too, and they're on SALE right now.

Perhaps you should look into a SSA Icon as well, they are solid performing drivers that sound pretty damn good too.

WHen you sa PA drivers you mean what exactly?

Do you have a link?

Also, just FYI speakers in the rear deck won't do anything for you when you have that much bass back there. It will just make things sound worse. If you want a new front stage, throw out your rear speakers, and spend a bit more on the front stage.
