How do you seal behind your subs?

Recommended Posts

Is there anything special to put behind the subs when you drop it into the enclosure so air does not leak between the sub and the front face they are resting in?

If your speaker does not come with a rubber seal you can go to Lowes and buy some weather stripping.

This sounds fine, i have a rubber cover, although it doesn't seem like this would seal it up. These are type r's and it is the rubber cover that come with them.

That should work fine, I mean unless you have some tears or cuts in it.
