Mechman alternators, Power Master, Ohio Generator, DB Electrical, Excessive Amperage and Irragi to name some.

For the D3100 I would add it as the second battery.

im going to be running the same amps as you. i have a 250 amp mechman alt, one D1200 as the starter since it was the biggest i can fit under my hood, and i have a D3100 as the second battery. if you can fit the D3100 as the main use it, but if you cant get the biggest powermaster XS you can fit under the hood and use the D3100 as the second

that right there should be pretty decent for that amp. If XS battereies are a lil too rich for u then Id go with a medium sized deka under the hood and 2-larger Dekas in the rear

thanks guys that sounds good...

i doubt the d3100 will fit so ill get a smaller one and put it under the hood

and use the d3100 as the extra.

i was looking at the mechman 250

would that be too much for the batteries or anything like that?

and i've been reading and only thing i've heard about mechman is good.

If you plan on using it to it's full potential, I'd plan on upgrading the front battery, adding two cells to the rear, and the big 3. You may or may not need the new alt (depending on the stock output), but if you have the money go for it!

hmm...

i beleive the alt puts out about 130amps...

i think but thats all i know.

obviously still have to upgrade the batteries but would that be enough?

also powermaster alts?

would i decend one of those work? like 150 to 200?

I would want at least a 200a alt, good group34 batt under the hood, and a good group31 batt in the back. I believe in overkill though so in this order get the biggest alt you can afford, biggest batt you can afford in the back, then biggest batt you can afford under the hood.
