RE XXXv3

If I know 12" specs can I get 10" specs?

Recommended Posts

If a 12" needs 1.75 cubes and has a displacement of .12, does the same model 10" need 1.4 and has a displacement of .096? Do you multiply 1.75 & .12 by .2 because there is a 20% size increase from 10 to 12?

No. Even if it were you're going about it terribly incorrectly. 10" to 12" isn't a 20% increase. It's about 50%. Hint- surface area.

Oh, right, surface area. It's an Eclipse SW8000, Eclipse Tech told me 1.75 cf for a 12" & 30hz tune and it's displacement is .12. It's a 12" sub with .12 so I thought the 10" would be .1.
