so i got my 15 RL-p metered...

Recommended Posts

with 300 watts :lol::P

went to a small audio meet in here in town, and many people had their stuff metered. i figured what the hell, so i borrowed a friend's amp (i STILL don't have my main amp yet...but that's for another thread).

his amp puts out 300 @ 2 ohms. the termlab was used, and was placed in the passenger side kick panel. i hit 137 dB...

guess that doesn't seem TOO bad considering the sub is in a 2.0 sealed, and in the trunk....with only 300 going to it....

You can either call around and ask your local shops, or go to an SPL show and compete.

well i'm planning on sending ~800-900 watts daily. should be louder :)

i'm sure i can squeeze out a few more .x dB's if my backseat could fold down :(

Just curious, are you guys anywhere near when the measurements are taken, or do you wear hearing protection?

I don't understand how everyone isn't deaf with the dB numbers you're talking about.

My RL-ps are probably pulling around a 141 on music (143ish if I tone burp). I listen to it daily...at that level, for entire songs. My left ear hurts if I put much pressure on it inwards, and it aches sometimes after getting out of the car.

RL-p = teh deaf
