45's in port of sub box

i have a FI SSD 15, in a 18x18x38 box, tuned to 33hz, i forgot to put the 45's in it. Its pretty loud so i dont think i need the 45's.

But is it really worth building another box to put the 45's in?

As long as you're happy with it, it's not worth your time unless you are hearing a significant amount of port noise.

Your SSD is really loud and has zero port noise, so it would be a waste of money and time to build another box.

45s really mostly with air turbulence. They take up space, so the tuning will SIGHTLY rise. I doubt youd notice an audible difference with the 45s unless youre out for numbers
