really? i was told first week in feb... oh.. well give it a couple weeks. USamps is gonna have a hardcore assembly line. Im prety sure it will come out by the middle of feb.

You think that there isnt much released here.... take a look at the re forum... there were rumors of a new XXX for a year before anything was acknowledged LOL

So why is the ax-600 have less power than a year ago? Are the new ones just really underated?

they are totally redesigned boards the ax600 is probably made to go in between the old AX600 and the disontinued AX400.

but the new ones can hande much more power than the old ones.

The VLX is on it's way back as a 20th anniversary line.

all 2006 AX are shippping. The new AX2000HC were put to the test in the Usaci spring break jam Sunday, March 05, 2006. D. bentons took out his old SPL gear and replaced it with US AMPS, right before the competition. In SPL super mod 0-1000 they took first place and hit a 168.2, 6dB more than with old equipment. Beating the scores of 12 competitors in higher classes. They did not expect such a difference and did not pay the 75 bucks for it to be a world record. Now they are tuning the box and in Texas heat wave, they will run again, this time for the world record.

In Daytona, more 2006 AX will be put to the test. The 2006 team US AMPS has officially started. If interested come see us at our booths in Daytona.
