Install in new car.

Recommended Posts

I got a new 2012 ford escape and I want to put my sa12s in it. Factory premium door speakers sound great, I just need my subs for the bass. How should I go about getting the turn on and input wired up? It's a new car so I'm afraid to do anything...

Need a high level/low level converter to turn speaker wire signal into RCA signal. Then need switch 12v ans to run power wires and wire it all up.

Where should I connect the line converter though?

The rear speaker wires, normally.

Would taking the line converter to one of the rear speakers make that one get less power?

For sttock speakers I'd only put one cuz the bass might over power tthem. If that makes any difference to you.

New cars stock systems get very loud. You'd be surprised.
