Hi,I was wanting some guidance on where i should take my electrical to minimize voltage drops.

The amps are: hifonics BRZ2100.1 and a soundstream RUB500.4

Electrical: 150A alternator, shuriken BT-80 and shuriken BT-20 (both measure a good 12.7-12.9). 4 gauge big 3, 4 gauge to the soundstream and 0 to the hifonics

I was aiming more for a bigger alternator. According to math, give or take a 14.4V crank 14.4v/2600w=180.5A. I'm not sure what current the car is drawing from that. would i be safe with a 240A alternator or do i need to just go 270? and would upgrading the big 3 to 0 be necessary?

Thanks!

Go with the biggest you can fit, no need to start off small just in case you want to upgrade later.

For that power adding 0 guage to the big 3 would be a good idea as well
