got to say... bose sucks. they sound like shit with the new headunit. i have to fig out the eq setting to make it ok. i get it good for rap. then rock sounds like garbage. uhhh tiring.

what i need to do is get new mids and high and an amp already.

Yeah it sucks swapping the HU with a bose system. It's an excuse to upgrade though. Looks good so far!

yea. still dont know what amp and components. think im gonna stick sundown amp but dunno if i should do 2 or 4 ch.

i have a mb quart onyx 4x80. I dont use its in perfect condition. Just throwing it out there if you need a good quality and condition amp for a budget price.

Try to sample some to get a feeling for what you like. Components are hard to suggest as people have different preferences. What is your budget? Make sure you also budget for some deadening.

i have some deadening for the doors. components up front and some 6.5 coaxial in the rear. all amped. or just 2 channel with components on the front. i would say 500 for amp and front components

Nice build bro. That MB Quart is a nice amp and sounds pretty good for the price range. I'm using the larger Onx4.125 and it plays well.
