Seems like a rediculous amount of box for two 8's . Be careful with too much power in that huge box..

It's what the trunk space called for, tuned at about 30 hertz isn't crazy power

This.

If you add about 4 more of them you would be doing ok.

ohh. well you should have done it differently, you are going to murder those subs if you leave them in that big of a box

you could run a single 18 in that air space, or a pair of 15s or 3 or 4 12s lol or 6-10 8s

looks good but  your doomed to fail

Should consider either building a smaller box or more speakers for that box. Not sure how the planet audio 3k performs but isn't that a little steep for 2 of those 8's?

There is a plan for two more 8"s and the planet audio isn't really over kill

There is a plan for two more 8"s and the planet audio isn't really over kill

it is with the airspace you have and the number of subs at this point.

unless your saying that its output is no where near its rating,

with two more 8s you will still have too much volume but it will help.....

you seem resistant to take advice at this point... but you can take up some volume simply by using expanding foam.

I think he likes the box filling up the entire trunk area. I would make it sort of like a dummy box so that the box is that size on the outside but on the inside it is the correct volume for those subs (bigger outside, smaller inside). Like Jon said fill her up!

Is this a joke, why would you do this? And if this isn't a joke please listen to everyone before you kill the subs.

That box is too damn big!!!! If you want a ported box try 1.5 cubes total not 7
