Sub usable for parts?

Recommended Posts

Frame and softparts are trash, but the motor looked good from the other pictures.  Should be able to sell the motor for some cash for sure, although I can't help with what it should bring.

I'm pretty unknowledgeable when it comes to selling off random sub parts, but if that's a fair price, I'd be willing to do it.  You (or whoever) would need to pay for shipping as well.

How'd that happen?

Stupid and irritating mistake on my part.  Had my sub box pulled out of the car and on the kitchen floor.  Was packing up for vacation and needed to move the box.  Picked it up and didnt quite get my fingers under it in time, slipped out of my hand and on to the floor.  Fell only a few inches, but obviously just right.

Why not buy a recone and new basket?

The thought crossed my mind, but with my basic knowledge, I don't trust myself to try re-building one.  Plus, I've already ordered an Ethos.

Ethos are just so tempting, I don't blame you.

It's on my Christmas list lol.

It is rather easy and then you would not loose as much money.

I'm sure it probably is.  But for something like that, I would probably prefer to be shown the process hands on.  For me, I dont know anyone locally to show me that.  Its just a matter of comfort level I guess.  In this case, my loss would be someone else's gain.
