Thx, she like it too. Although I'm trying to talk her into letting me make a ported box. I think the song was track 6 on the new young jeezy CD. :fing34: It's funny 'cause nobody beleves me that it's 2 8"s untill I open the hatch to show them. Edited by oxsign

Thanks man, I think she'll like ported but I do know what you mean that people think the subs are bigger then what they are, I noticed in your vid that those 8's do get plenty loud off the sealed enclosure, I could imagine if you ported those..

cool small setup you got there.

what year is that golf/gti, looks like the 2000 models? the hatch looks pretty big enough for 2 18" ported or 2 15" ported...

Could you tell me if the hatch size is the same as the 1996 golf?

it's a golf R32. a mk4 with a 3.2 L v6.

if yours is from 96 it is a mk3. the floor of the hatch is a tiny bit smaller but the total VOLUME is identical.

mk3's are nice choice but i don't think you can fit 2 ported 18's in there. maybe one.

Amazing. She's already gotten a speeding ticket (95 in a 60 on the highway), LOL. I've pegged the revlimiter at 153mph. Felt like I was doing 85.
