First Build - 2000 Accord

Recommended Posts

So this is my first build. Box was made by mobileman at CAF.com.

12" BTL

Crunch GP3000D Pro

2.4F Cap - Coming out when I get two Kinetic 2000s

Optima Red Top

1/0 wiring

FatMat 1 layer in trunk, 2 on the lid

Soon to be

Iraggi 200 amp alt

Big 3

New comps and amp (not sure exactly)

Maybe a new sub/amp layout. Will probably go with 2 12" btls with 2 GP3000D but after electrical upgrade

Beautiful box and nice sound deadening.

Two critiques

A) Sell the cap, esp if you are doing the Big 3 AND a new alt. There should be no need for it. use the money towards a good amp, if you're going to the 2 BL set up.

B) mount the amp somewhere different, or get some DARK tint on your rear window. I don't know where you live, but my stuff would be gone in .5 seconds if I rode with an amp on the rear deck. EDIT: I am dumb, saw the folded seat and thought it was the read deck haha. Amp isn't visible to thieves unless they have X-ray vision!!

Just some thoughts. Good luck with it

I have a 00 Accord 2dr also.

Mine is is a EX v6.

With the sunroof and bass, they didn't get along.

I heard WAY to many rattles, so I just took all my stuff out.

I hope you fixed yours.

well i got a 96 accord 2dr. and the sunroof was no problem at all. all i had to do was not close the inside latch all the way and it wont vibrate and rattle bad. the only problem i got is the headliner. its bad... i thought it was my sub at one point.
