thats one sick box. great work BJ.

It really is a nice job. When you're working with the box, it feels like the whole thing was milled out of a solid piece of material. To me, that's the sign of a well built box.

No not yet. I can only work on it on the weekends. Thwe box has the drivers in it and is wired. I need to make a small box for some other speakers that are going in the interior. Then I need to run some wiring for a few lights that my son wants in the van. As soon as all the wiring is under the carpet, we'll "throw" the box, amp and extra battery in. Then the fun starts!!

well, we finally had a chance to do a little work this weekend. We got the wiring beneath the carpet and the carpet put back in. Some of the trim is in but most of it still needs to be installed. Next will be the amp and wiring, then seats and trim. I figure another 2 hours or so next weekend and we should be able to light it off. We still should have seating for 4 when we're finished.

but this is sweet!

?? It IS a regular old Safari van. We've had it for 18 years. Actually, my son who now owns the van was brought home from the hospital in it when he was born!! We changed the wheels from 15" to 18's and lowered it, tinted the windows and put LED's under it. Now we're going from 2 12's to 4 18's. It's kind of a work in progress.
