Ya, just took a little cruise with it. Now I'm setting it to please my ears. I don't plan on cranking them too much until I feel they're broken in a little.

The subs just made a bit of a poppling noise for a second, then stopped. I've never had BRAND new subs before, so not to sure what this could be. I checked all of the wiring everywhere and it all looks good. Anyone know?

No, it was playing for a couple minutes at about a quarter to a thurd volume and started poppling a little. I don't think the amps were in protect.

Check the HU, all the wires, output voltage, everything.

It's all fine. I played it for a minute or two just now and no popping. Maybe it was just a bobble or something.

If it happens again I'm going to take the wires out of the speaker terminals, maybe I pushed them too far through and they're touching something.

Sounds fishy...

No kidding, never heard anything like it before. I'm going to keep a close eye on it. Maybe have a thorough look through my whole car.

Is it random popping? I have heard a clicking noise coming from speakers when you increase and decrease volume, the HU was decreasing output voltage too rapidly and causing gaps in the signal.

That's what I started thinking. The box is to 32Hz. I think I just had the subsonic set a little low.

WAAAAAY too low, like all the way over. I wasn't really paying attention to the little stuff yesterday. I was in a bit of a rust to get it done. I just went back and corrected most everything, including the rca's.

At least i can take a lesson out of all this. Don't get into a hurry no matter how bad you want to go out and eat for free lol.

Ok, finally took a few vids. Just a warning though, I haven't slept since friday night, and I was hopped up on 3 Monsters when I took these vids. So hands were a little shaky to say the least haha. I'm going to take some better ones later, but maybe these will hold some of you over until I do.

Still not actually pushing them too hard, just letting them get a good break in.

After doing the Second Skin, I have hardly any roof flex, especially compared to how it was before.

This prooves that lack of sleep, plus a ton of caffeine after not having any for over a year, equals motion sickness lol.
