I have an 8ga ground off my distro. An 1/0 ga is feed from the battery.

How is your headunit grounded. The stock Chevy ground is SUPER noisy.

If you are grounding the draconia with 18ga that is very insufficient.

All my grounds are 8ga, except the HU. I will ground the HU with something a bit more stout and see where this takes me.

Make sure the grounding location is good and clean. On my silvy I just grounded it to the firewall right next to where the ground strap attaches on the engine side. No noise at all in my system.
